Dollars and $ense. Starting the Discussion about Finances with your Student

flyer for the Dollars and Sense program to be held at CRHS on April 11th at 7pm

Financial literacy is the latest hot topic in education, especially for high schools, but parents can begin teaching “Dollars and Sense” from the earliest ages. Start your child on the road to success with information and attitudes towards money that most adults had to learn the hard way.
Did you know?

69% of parents feel less prepared to give their teens advice on investing, than on the “birds and the bees”

34% of students report they “never” or “only when necessary” talk to their parents about money.

And 29% of teens say the are in debt.

This program will empower parents to talk with their kids about spending, saving, sharing, and protecting their money and offers tools to support efforts in each these areas.
